In the early winter morning, the dim sun hangs low over the Snake River where new ice is forming. The cold pastels of the sky are reflected in the water and ice. A few cars pass over the bridge connecting the town of Jackson, Wyoming to Teton Village, the main business in the area. I wanted to capture the sensation of bitter cold as seen in the misty atmosphere and blue shadows on the snow.
The original watercolor is available matted in a gallery-style 16x20 walnut frame, shipping included.
