Plein air in Marinette County WI. Balancing my easel on the boulders lining this fast-moving body of water, I selected a portion of the scene to capture. Using water from the river, I created this work in watercolor, paying special attention to the shadows and colors of the rocks. The original on paper is available unframed, shipping included.
